Returning Member – Suzetta Glenn

I live in the North Mill Creek/SE Everett neighborhood. I teach Voice and Piano. I was born and raised in Arkansas. I’m single, with two grown children.  My son, Jamin Glenn Harrison, is a Broker & Land Acquisition Specialist with Windermere Real Estate.   My daughter, Marelle Glenn Moehrle, has been a teacher in the Edmonds School District for seven years.  I have two Shih Tzu fur-grand-babies, Frank and Moosie, who are brother and sister.

My non-musical related skill is playing basketball.  For five years I played on the Arkansas Diamonds, a senior (age 50 and older) women’s team, which is a part of the National Senior Olympics Association.

I’m a Charter member and past President of EMTA.  My membership became inactive when I moved from Washington state in 2004. I’m rejoining after returning here in 2018. As a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC), I was the National Chair of the Woman’s Voice Category of the Young Artists Auditions from 2018 – 2022.  Past organizational memberships include positions in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and the City of Edmonds Arts Commission.

Teaching accomplishments include having my proposal chosen by the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute to design, plan, and teach a beginning Voice Class for its Envision U! Residential 2008 Summer Arts Camp in Arkansas.  Musical accomplishments include being a featured soloist with the orchestra for the University of Siena ‘s 2001 summer concert tours throughout Italy.
