I am a Charter Member and Past President of EMTA. I’ve maintained a private studio for 25 years, including the years I taught at two universities. I’m located in the south Everett / Mill Creek area.
Voice: I accept child, adolescent, and adult students. Lessons for all students include standard vocal techniques (appropriate to age and ability) to safely build and strengthen the voice and, ultimately, to be the tools allowing students to sing with confidence in many vocal styles. I have successfully prepared students for auditions and performances in opera, music theatre, oratorio, choir solos, college auditions, scholarship competitions, school talent shows, weddings, and for the joy of accomplishing personal singing goals.
Piano: Because I believe that piano lessons provide the foundation for all musical explorations, I teach beginning through intermediate level students of all ages. Additionally, I offer coaching sessions for piano collaborators who work with vocal soloists.
Academic Experience:
Voice Faculty, Ouachita Baptist University, Arkansas, 2006 – 2016 (Retired).
