Valerie Gathright is a past Vice-President for EMTA. Valerie enjoys being a part of the wonderful festivals and events that EMTA offers. She first fell in love with the piano while playing hide and seek under the family’s grand and listening to her Dad play ragtime. She has been teaching for 10 years and loves introducing students to different musical styles and genres. Valerie also enjoys playing the flute, singing in the choir at church, hiking and dancing.
