“May the 4th be with you!” – This year’s theme for our annual Musicianship Festival.  This will be a hybrid event just like last year.  Please think about registering your students for this event.  Registration will be open sometime in early February on OUR website.  If you plan on having one or more of your students participating in the Excellence in Music Awards or the Joan E. Brown Scholarship, they need to help work and/or participate in the Musicianship Festival, as you do as the teacher.  There is a Student/Parent Information Letter on our website that you want to hand out to your students as soon as possible. Final Registration Deadline will be Tuesday, March 12th and solo performance videos and pdfs uploads deadline will be Tuesday, April 9th.  STILL NEEDED:  A person to help with gathering the volunteer information, and scheduling and contacting the volunteers.  For all other information regarding this event you can find on our website.  If EMTA teachers still have any questions, please do not hesitate to either call or email the event coordinator: Mary Beth Rogers.
