Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all instructors of music belonging to EMTA! The following Musicianship Festival forms are now available on the EMTA Musicianship Festival and Music Literacy Program webpage: Student Registration Form (due March 17), Non-Teacher Volunteer Form (due April 14), and the Student Submission Form (due April 14). You, the music instructor, will complete the Student Registration Form for your students!
All the daring and brave lords, ladies, and lordies of the land are invited to demonstrate their musical talents! If you have not already extended the invitation to them with the Student Information Letter, please do so!
Beware! The evil dragon of the name “Changes to Procedure” lurks in the Teacher Information Letter! He hath given time limits to performances, taken away requirements for different Music eras, and declared that no teacher shall play in ensemble with their own student unless they are accompanying a vocal solo or other-instrument solo.
We are always in need of volunteers! This year, we especially need adult volunteers. Any non-teacher who can help us volunteer should fill out the Non-Teacher Volunteer Form.
Many thanks to all who help our Musicianship Festival flourish! We cannot do this without you.
As there is no general EMTA meeting in March, please contact the event coordinators directly if you have any questions.
