Another EMF under our belts! We heard that this year was so much better than last year and we know it is not only because of all the teachers and volunteers, but also because this was our 2nd year at Edgewood Baptist, and we had the whole place dedicated just to the festival. Again a huge thanks to the festival team of Dawn, Brooke, Laurie, Roxanne, Mary Beth and Frances. Then, kudos to the 80+ volunteers that worked tirelessly not only on May 6th but before and after to make the festival happen. Below is a list of teachers (27+) involved.

Some highlights of the festival:
Excellent performances by all the students and amazing MLP scores. Below is a list (by teacher) of students who scored 94% and above on their theory tests. All these students received the large yellow rosette and State seal on their certificates. Students with 98% or higher received High Honors and their names will appear in the June or September Clarion. 136 students took the theory test and 86 scored 94% and above. Congratulations teachers and students!!!!

About next year:
- Some teachers and students prefer playing live. In order for this to happen we need more judges and a longer day for the festival. Please let Angela know if you would like this to happen. Many teachers would like to see a choice of video or live.
- Remember Frances Goei will not be doing this next year but the rest of the team is in place. In addition, many volunteers said they wanted to help again next year. Please consider taking this on—you will have help and be trained!
